MEET MATTHEW MCQUEEN
I started working on cars and bikes in my early teen years; I've been elbow-deep in engines since.
My love for mechanics led me to BCIT where I became a Master Motorcycle Technician in 2010 and started working for a local motorcycle shop. I loved doing total rebulids and custom bikes but we always had to outsource part of the work. I wanted to be able to do it all: the basic mechanics but also rebuild engines and fabricate parts right in my own shop. I went back to BCIT, completed an apprenticeship and got my Red Seal in Machining in 2017. Since then I've been making custom and one-off parts for motorcycles, cars, helicopters and manufacturing plants -all the while working on machines in my garage.
Manufacturing slowed due to COVID and I decided the time finally arrived to open up my own repair shop.
I'm not set up for custom fabrication or total engine rebuilds right now but plan to expand in the near future. If you're interested in this type of work, get on my wait list now! Check out the SERVICES list I offer.
I am a father of two awesome kids, run a small hobby farm with my wife and explore Vancouver Island by wheel and foot in my spare time.
